how much cost for metamaterial based antenna?

    Hi,
I want to design an antenna which I do not decide yet what type of antenna. To improve directivity and gain, I consider designing matematerial based antenna, but I dont know costs. If anyone knows how much approximately cost for metamaterial and how easy to find metamaterial, thanks for the helps

It's not readily available, nor is it cheap. But if you have a large research budget, ask Dr. Pekka Ikonen, Head of Strategic Marketing at TDK-EPC

How are we supposed to answer that question with no details?

If you use a "fully printable" metamaterial, there will be no cost increase.
