problme copying a file from windows to linux in vmware

Hi

I have a problem copying a 188mb file from windows to linux in vmware workstation.I have 41GB available space.But i am unable to copy this file except all i can copy them.Is there any permissions issue ??
 

It's difficult to determine from your description.

What is the actual error message displayed when you attempt to perform the copy?

Is this a network transfer or through a shared folder?

It direct copy apste from windows to linux home folder

The erro message i am getting is cant read from the source/disk ; this is the dialogue which is appearing.
