Op amps are voltage providers, not current providers. They typically have extremely weak driving capabilities. What can be done is that they can be used to control a transistor or mosfet to provide the required current. Of course, the moment you bring in those, your response will no longer be linear. Just google around for power amp designs. Should have lots of them.
The "GOD" of all opamps, the 741, can give you max 20mA.
But you can boost the output current and voltage by using external transistors.
