spectrum?

In spectrum instrument, I only can find amplitude of selected frequency range.
there is no "phase" of selected frequency range.
But, in Fourier transform, we can easily got phase of frequency range.
What wrong is it?

Re: spectrum?

The data you saw from spectrum analyzer is "magnitude", not "amplitude".

Re: spectrum?

Hi

Spectrum analyzers are frequency voltmeter. they do not measure even power.
