Does anyone know if it’s possible to use an ultrasonic cleaner to clean a waterproof device with a built-in battery (for example an electric razor, electric shaver or electric toothbrush)? And does it depend on the type of battery?

Ultrasonic cleaners are supplied and used with a mild detergent solution to fasten up the cleaning process. The blades and shaving components can be cleaned until the electrical parts does'nt come in contact with the cleaning solution. The cleaning solution is generally a good conductor of electricity can can damage electrical or electronic devices if comes in contact with. You may use the ultrasonic cleaner to clean the said items if you are confident about its water seals and possible leakages. Note that the life of the rubbber seals may reduce as it come in contact with soapy solution while cleaning.
