Wilkinson Power Divider

Hi
Currently i am designing a wilkinson power divider and i would like to know what are the factors that determines the bandwidth for the divider so i could alter my design to manipulate the dividers bandwidth.

Thank You

Re: Wilkinson Power Divider

The bandwidth is basically limited by the quarter wave impedance changing transformers. You can increase the bandwidth by using multiple quarter wave sections.

Re: Wilkinson Power Divider

Hi thank you for the advised but may i know that is the theory behind using multiple quarter wave section to increase the bandwidth and is there any books or papers that talks about this.

Thank you

Re: Wilkinson Power Divider

This topic has been discussed some time ago.
Take a look here for some details on wideband multi-section wilkinson dividers...
