Hi,

I am new to benchmarking. we have risc core processor and we are planning to benchmark the processor core. could you suggest me what kind of benchmarks should i need or the critieria for selecting the benchmarks. how to start thinking on this problem, should we have to write our benchmarks or can we port some of the benchmarks from the existing benchmarks.

How to start digging into the subject.???

The complete tool chain, i.e assembler, compiler, OS flavour of uclinux being ported to the processor are developed.

I would like to know more on the subject,

Thanq
