[51] sim908 gsm gps module with hyperterminal showing garbage values

i tried to connect sim908 gsm gps module to connect with hyperterminal. but the hyperterminal window shows garbage values continously .
please help me with the connections and commands to communicate with the module.
 

Baudrate is not matching ? What is the default baudrate of your SIM908 ? 9600 bps ? If yes, in PC Device Manager open properties of COM port being used by SIM908 and set baudrate to 9600 bps. Also baudrate in Serial Terminal Software like HyperTerminal should be set to same.
 

yes, i tried baudrate 9600 for both COM port and also set the same in hyper terminal. but still i get garbage values.. I also tried with different baudrates still the result is the same :bang:
 

check the power supply, I got same problem and I replaced the adaptor(AC-DC) and it worked correctly. Hope this helps
