100khz frequency phase inverting using cd4011 nand gate

from pic microcontroller i am generating 100khz frequency square wave i want to invert the phase so that i am using cd4011 nand gate by connecting the 2 input terminals. my doubt is can i use 100khz frequency in cd4011?

hi raman,
Is your IC a CD4011 or CD4011B [ the B versions output is buffered]

Both will work at 100KHz, but the B will give a better square wave.

There is another version HEF4011 which is 'faster'

Read the data sheet, it's all right there. But you're not going to get a square wave, the CD4011 is pretty slow. Why are you using a 40-year-old part?
 
if i use a 557 transistor can i get pure sine wave? is there any other option
 

what is your output voltage ? why don you just use a TTL not gate ? 100khz is very ordinary frequency for transistors.

Make up your mind. Do you want a square wave or a sine wave? And, no, a transistor is not going to give you a sine wave.
