I am Using HFSS 9.2
This is my 3D radiation pattern
3d radiation.jpg

Hence I expect figure of 8 in XZ plane and circle in XY plane

for x plane i followed the steps as shown in below pictures.

2d1.jpg

2d2.jpg

2d3.jpg

But not getting proper result...

For XZ plane

Changed angle as theta,
Under Sweeps tab selected Phi=0,

If this is wrong ..plz suggest corrections

Hi vijaimvk,

I'm not sure what you're trying to do. You can plot 2D plots by selecting Far Fields Report -> Radiation Pattern. You can then plot vs theta or phi, selecting the cut angles with the "families" tab.

Good Luck

As in the above images, there is only 3 tabs.. ..Antenna oriented in the XZ plane ... hence my E plane is xz plane and H plane is xy plane..

hence for XZ plane I set phi=0 deg and theta = all ,and theta as primary sweep .

for XY plane I set theta =90 deg and phi= all, and phi as primary sweep ..

But not getting them correctly ..... plz help
