Hello,

I would like to know which equipment should I have on a shop to repair industrial electronic boards? AC/DC drives, power supplies, PLC's...

I have already: Oscilloscopes, SMD rework station, soldering iron, ESR meter, multimeter.

Should I have others?

Regards,
Bruno

Hello!

Thanks for the input. I will look for some information in spectrum analyser troubleshooting techniques.

Any more equipment should be considerered? BGA rework station? ultrasonic cleaner?

hi,i think a variac is necessary, very big (high wattage load resistors) like heaters and signal generators.

hello,

Thanks for the input. Where can a signal generator and a Spectrum analyser help in troubleshooting, component level, in a PCB?

Can anyone send me documents/links with tutorials?

Thanks,

I often use a logical analisator for repair digital boards. :)
