I have a Bosch CCD camera installed on the home security through DVR. The camera is installed outside to monitor the in and out of the main entrance. The camera started flickering (display on LCD appears and disappears periodically). What can be the reason for this and how I can rectify that. Is there any possibility that moisture (rainy season) or too much light (day time in summers) can be causing some problem with the sensor?

I think there might be a mismatch between the refresh rate(measured in frames per second) of the camera and refresh rate of the LCD monitor.

This also might be possible.Check the CCD sensor to know whether is there any moisture on the screen or not.
