Question regarding to MC33063

1)On this diagram, 24VAC com in into the MC33063, so the MC33063 can take in both AC and DC voltage?

2)RSC1 1.0ohm resitor, I saw 2 of that parallel, is that correct?

3)This circuit shows MC33063 generates 5V output? How do I modify the circuit to generate 12VDC output? Input still 24VAC.
 

Hi,

The best source if information is the dstasheet. Read it carefully.

AC:
There is no ac at your MC33063 because you used a rectifying diode and a capacitor.
The MC definitely is not able to handle AC.
