Hi,
Is there any other sensor pair( IR & Photo transistor) with seperate plastic housing available like in attachment...

probably thousands of IR LEDs & Phototransistors. Refer to any of many manufacturers.

But whats so special about the plastic housing ?

ya..Most of them are through hole ..I need to fit this in between mechanical parts..
