Why is the LCD LED not glowing in Sony ACX705AKM LCD?

any one using Sony LCD

Hai,

I want to interface Sony LCD ACX705AKM to Avr Device.

before that i want to test the LCD LED light.so i give the power +3v,but its not glow.

any one tell me the reason y its glow.

pin no 21,22

Hi,

I don't know that display, but are you sure, it's 3 V? I think it should be an inverter for the light...

Actually, LED light in this LCD has about 6 volts forward drop at the 15mA specified in the datasheet, so 3V is definitely not enough.
