High power current sense resistors with low resistance values are limited?

Hello,
We are doing a 680W boost converter (vin = 18V-28V, VOUT = 34V)
we need a high power current sense resistor of 3W or more.
All I can find is the CSS2725 series by Stackpole, but it only comes in 250uR, 500uR or 1mH.

Is there a range of 3W+ current sense resistors with values in between these?

Check distributor inventory. There is a distributor search on the irctt web site (Distributor Search page). Here in the USA, Mouser has .00025, .0005 and .001 in stock. Enter "CSL-5" in the Mouser search. Mouser in the UK seems similar. I am guessing these are their standard values. Looks like these are the values you already found. So, you will need to scale the voltage from the sense resistor instead of tuning the resistor value.

The selection of available resistance values is obviously limited.
Isabellenhuette BVS and BVE series are also stocked with 0.2 and 0,3 mOhm at my distributor.
