Hi,

I'm quite new to this so I have a few simple questions.
My purpose is to make a simple home DIY automation system using a Raspberry Pi and product called "Radioblocks"
The radioblocks is a simple mesh radio module and my question is, if I have one of these connected to my Pi and I want to control a relay remotely for example through the Pi, is a module with these 4 pins sufficient or the other end needs an arduino also?
The datasheet of Radioblocks is at link below. It has VDD (3-5V), GND, Tx and Rx pins. My idea was that I connect the Tx or Rx to a transistor, which controls the VDD pin, which would drive a 250VAC relay. Is this feasible?

This radio-module has several GPIOs, so use one of them to drive a transistor and then a relay.
The Rx and Tx pins are designed to trasnmit serial data ..
