soc top integration

Hi, *,

integration is a quite tedious step in SOC flow, and manual work will be certainly slow and incapable.

I used a companay inhouse tool, and it is quite dumm.

which tools do you guys use, and which one will be the best??

Never heard of any SOC integrastion tool ?
you can check with Cadence,Synopsys.

top-level integration

maybe perl can give some help
 

levels of tool integration

So far, I've not seen any product from candence/synopsys specically focus on top level integration.
I also use a self-develop tool inside our company to do such task.
But it is weak for iopad connection. So we always use perl to do pad connection.
And intergarate other modules by tool.

i never heard of some special tools used to integrate
ip!!
maybe your design come from schematic???
 

visual elite hdl + tool download

how about visual hdl?
and now visual elite is the high version.
visual hdl can generate a block diagram for a module(coding with verilog or vhdl)
u can use them to connetion together!
but it not easy to deal with a block diagram with hundreds of port.
 

integration question in 12 level

how abt SOC encounter by synopsys..I guess its comprehensive with heirachial floor planning..

Hi, I have seen your problems and I have solved all of them in Topweaver. And any of new features' request can be added. I have worked on this topic for many years. I think Topweaver is the best. But it seems you have not seen my post. Why?
