Hi all,
How do I use the LM2678 as a tracking pre regulator?
regards

I want to make the dropout voltage of a linear regulator to be about 3V. I need a circuit for that using lm2678

The problem seems to suggest a difference amplifier or an equivalent construct. Did you try to design a circuit?

Apparently the same vague question has been asked in several forums simultaneously, even the 3v requirement was given as an assumption in a reply and not as part of the the OP requirement

I would suggest you describe clearly what you are trying to do, the voltages and current involved and the linear regulator you intent to use (assuming you want to use a linear regulator)
