I am bringing my Philips beard trimmer from India to USA.

Will the charger of the trimmer work in USA with an Universal Plug ???

Or is some voltage conversion plug with a transformer required ??

The input voltage rating of my charger is 100-240 V 50/60 hz 9w

Also I'm bringing my samsung galaxy S6802 phone.

Will my Indian charger work in USA with the universal plug ???

Rating of my phone charger: Input: 150-300vAC 50-60HZ 0.15A

Or is some step up/ step down transformer plug required for this one too??

This should work according to this information, all others depends from product quality.

This will NOT work! You need adequate psu for that locale.

Buy new adapter its cheap.

Best regards,
Peter

US wall sockets are 110-120V 60Hz so beard trimmer is ok without transformer, will need plug adapter for plug shape. You need step up transformer for phone charger. Or a cheaper option is to buy a usb charger for your phone and then there are lot of options in US for wall to USB converters.
