Suppose there is a position of Application engineer to work in SOC/IP customer issues in front end and back end. Suppose there is another position for Design Engineer of SOC/IP to work in main chip design front end area. Which position is advantageous over the other and why? This is asked because there is a debate about which one is a better position between the two above positions of Application engineer and design engineer. Which position is more demanding and why?
