By godlikerom's request, I explain my experience about USB JTAG for TI's DSP until now..

USB JTAG = MCU(Cypress FX2 + EEPROM) + JTAG Controller + CPLD + {Other optional IC for voltage translation or isolation}


There are some points of USB JTAG design..

1. Cypress FX-2 & it's reference schematic
: MCU + EEPROM belongs to the MCU function block..

2. Interface between JTAG Controller & MCU is Address & Data bus..

3. CPLD logic equation..
: This is the hardest work I think..
make this by yourself by refer the XDS510PP's Gal equation...



P.S> I've upload some old data in my hard disk..

If you request my schematic file, then I'll upload the orcad design file..
