which software is best to design a pcb for smps based inverters?
 

Pi expert is an easy solution.it also generates pcb layout
 

Unlike things such as RF design, power electronics don't necessarily require special PCB design tools to get good results. However if you really want to be fancy then getting a program that can simulate thermal impedance may be worthwhile. I'm not experienced firsthand with such software, but I believe that functionality is usually obtained as a third-party add on.

There is no particular special software for every job. Its all in the hand of the person who works with it. If the deisgner is capable and experienced, he/ she can design PCB's for any equipment on any software known well to his talent.
