Does someone have experienced this materials?
Is this fast and low power for movements?
Any info is appreciated.

thx
Lollo

Nitinol (muscle wire) is able to contract at a respectable speed depending on the current (therefore heat) through it. It usually expands slowly unless an active cooling source is used.

It certainly has its applications and is fun to play with.

Has anybody used it?
Is it suitable for small battery applications?
Which alternatives to it are there if one?

thx
Lollo
