hi all

i want to ask about the differences between 1st order low pass filter and 2nd order low pass filter?
i want to make a comparison between this two filter for my project
i really need a help
 

Fuzzhan, this question is such a fundamental one that I am surprised you didn`t find an answer in the internet. Or didn`t you even try it?
 

1st order : 1 reactive component ( T.F. equation is of 1st order )
2nd Order : 2 reactive component ( T.F. equation is of second order )
