Hello,

I am using the HV9910B LED driver.
(designing flyback led driver of 3W output)

HV9910B datasheet:
**broken link removed**

I wish to use the "LD" pin to dim the LEDs to three different levels.

Level 1: "LD" pin gets 250mV connected to it (i.e. no connection as 250mV is the internal trip level)
Level 2 "LD" gets 186mV connected to it
Level 3: "LD" gets 118mV connected to it.

These voltages are very close together......how can i provide these voltages accurately?......a microcontroller must organise the connection of these voltages to the LD pin.

I was thinking of just providing these voltages by getting the uC to PWM into an RC circuit, and then the filtered voltage would connect to the LD pin, but could i do this accuratley enough with a microcontroller?

I think a Digital to Analog converter can help you. Have a look at this page...
