Help required to convert PIC16F877 code to PIC16887

What language is it written in? What compiler was it written for?

If it's in assembly, you might have quite a hard time converting it (or you may not, depending on assembly proficiency).
If it's in C or BASIC, it's going to be a lot easier to convert - little change required.
