How do I save data of the simulation result in cadence so I can export to matlab or excel? And where is wavescan in ADE?

Thanks

Hi,
It all depends on what data you are trying to save.
In verilog you can write ur verilog simulation result in a txt file
in a format you want using $fdisplay/$fwrite. Then you can export this txt file data to excel or matlab.

If the simulator supports verilog/veriloga, you may use verilog/veriloga module to sample the outputs and write to a text file.

If you want to write the Analog Artist wave data to a file, you may follow these step:
1. Open the calculator from menu 'Tools/Calculator'.
2. Use 'browser' or 'wave' to select a wave to the calculator's input buffer.
3. Click 'printvs' button in the calculator, fill the form, and click 'OK'
4. Save the results in the window to a file.

Skill language may be a better choice if you want to save a lot of wave data.
