    little Fpass highpass filter

In some Energy Metering IC, AD sample signal at more than 200kSPS, then HPF(remove DC), square, LPF, square root.
My question is if asmple is 200kSPS, input is 50Hz, normalized freq is 0.0005. If i use fir filter, order of HPF(remove DC) is very large.
Can someone show me how can i design this HPF. Thanks.

    Use Butterworth's method.

Yes, use simple first order IIR.
