how to do annular ring checks in cam 350. explain in detail plz...

From the CAM 350 help files, under DRC checks, thats wot they are there for (searching):

Annular Ring The Annular Ring area allows you to set up annular ring checks by comparing data on different layers. These tests check both the data size and offset between the two layers. You need to identify which checks to perform and which layers to use for the tests.

This area provides three select lists for pad, mask and drill selection. Each select list only shows those layers with the appropriate layer types. You may also use Dcode filter and/or NC Tool filter to limit the scope of the checks.

Pad-Mask check tests to insure that the mask layer provides an annular ring around the pad of the amount specified. Click on the appropriate check box(es) to indicate whether you want to test the Top and/or Bottom mask layers. Specify the minimum annular ring distance to check for, in the text box next to your selection(s).

If no top or bottom mask layers exist in the database, the Top and/or Bottom check boxes will be grayed out.

Drill-Mask check tests to insure that the mask provides an annular ring around the drill hole size of the amount specified. Click on the Drill-Mask check box. Specify the minimum annular ring distance to check for, in the text box. Select the Drill Layer to check against in the drop-down list: you may select a specific drill layer, or either NC Primary or NC Secondary, which will select the designated primary or secondary layer in the design. Select the Mask Layer(s) to check from the drop-down list: select either top or bottom mask layer, or All Mask Layers, which alerts the check to test both masks for drill to mask annular rings.

If no mask layer or drill layer exists in the database, this check will be grayed out.

Drill-Pad Check - tests to insure that the pad provides an annular ring around the drill hole size of the amount specified. Click on the Drill-Pad check box. Specify the minimum annular ring distance to check for, in the text box. Select the Drill Layer to check against in the drop-down list: you may select a specific drill layer, or either NC Primary or NC Secondary, which will select the designated primary or secondary layer in the design.Select the Pad Layer(s) to check from the drop-down list: you may select a specific layer, or any of the same layer types as appear in the Add button for Layers to Test.

Note: If no drill layer exists in the database, this check will be greyed out.
