Is "7 years registered" achievement is calculated based upon "join date"?

Here is a list of Time Machine movies. I have not seen them all but i have good sense to understand the story. For last few months i was wondering how it may have happened in this user's profie.

I can understand your question but not the irony coming with it...

FvM has joined in 2008 and based on that the 7years registered wouldn't make sense however he is the most rated member in the forum and has received many point from other members and one of the donated point categories is days since registration, I think this is what made him get awarded with this achievement.

- - - Updated - - -

I have just verified it, you can see it **broken link removed**

Requirements:
Points for every day since registration higher than 1,280

7year_award.jpg

Normally without donations this is achieved after 7 years (2560 days) because you gain 0.5 points per day.

irony coming with it...
I also admire FvM of his knowledge and dedication to the forum. I find him precise and relevant in his answers. I was seeing it other way round that his joining date is not showing right so the irony was towards forum moderators. In some other forums, i see them they called them as "hero member" or some or other praising words so that any visitor can appreciate and pay more attention to the replies from them.

I think a eight year old child becoming microsoft expert can"t change his date of birth based on it.

It is not appreciation, it is wrong quote.

OK! it is like acceptance of a new friend in a group who soon become popular and it seems they are all old good friends.

Looks like FvM as a good member received a lot of points donations...

Hello ALERTLINKS,

thanks for pointing out the curiosity, I must confess that I wasn't aware of it yet. I came to know only a small part of the evidents mentioned in post #3, but I'm sure they are of a different kind.

I appreciate your sense of humour.

and one of the donated point categories is days since registration
OK! it is like acceptance of a new friend in a group who soon become popular and it seems they are all old good friends.

You obviously object against this so I must point out that this is not some custom policy of EDAboard but a default setting for Vbulletin based forums.
Secondly I don't understand why is an icon so much of a problem.

Someone going round comparing the joining date with the 7 year award has too much spare time on their hands!

Keith

OMG!

The internet is wrong, quick fix it. :)

So what do we get these achievements for? they look to be for some very simple things.
Is there a list somewhere?

Give the quality of FvM's contributions here and his obvious knowledge and experience, he might be quite capable of making himself a time machine!

Everyone who reaches 20000 post should be granted 14 years ...................
Just remember: if you are married - you have a life sentence!!!
