Hy.
I'm analizing a anntena, like you can see in the file, with HFSS.
I want to see the directivity and I have showed it in the design.
Nevertheless, I would like to know, if I have various modes, how can HFSS
calculate the radiation diagram?. For example, In that design, I have 5
modes and I have defined a Infinite Sphere. When I want to calculate the
directivity I don't know over which mode HFSS calculate the diagram. It
obtains the radiated fields, but what is the mode that assume HFSS?.

Regards and Thanks for all.

NOTE:
I'm running the sweep 50GHZ.

give me more time to carefully read ur model. I will keep u updated.

General hints, after the simulation, in post-processing, if you have difined wave ports with several modes exciation, then you can change the amplitude and phase of excitation of each mode, then you can get all information whatever you want.

Best Regards,
