How to get Qe from the phase of S11 in HFSS?

1. How to get Qe in HFSS

when designing a cavity resonator filter by KQ method in HFSS v9.2, I simulate the single-port structure consists of the first resonator and the input port and get the phase of S11. I know we can directly get the Qe from the phase of S11 by the Macro in CST MWS.

Could you tell me whether I can also directly get Qe from the phase of S11 in HFSS? •

You can't just get it directly to my understanding
You have to go and use the field calculator to get results for the Q •

It's very simple, dear burton. You need to use in Report field a Output Variable the next type:
Qe=im(Y(1,1))/re(Y(1,1)).
For this Variable you can make a plot or a table.

You're right, also. And both of expressions are correct. You can use any formula, with Y or Z-parameters. --[[ ]]--
