Hi All,

I am using the Digilent Nexys2 fpga board for testing a design core. I am interfecing the board with USB, and i have Adept software for read and write the data in to my fpga design, In the Register I/O tab of the Adept software is working fine, means i can write and read the data via Adept software, but if i wants to write/read more register then i can keep it as a file and transfer it via File I/O tab.

But the thing is that i dont know which is the file format and how the data format in that specified file.

So can anyone help me to get out of from it. In the manual they didnt specify these things.

Hi mrfibble,

Thanks for your reply. I had seen the mentioned link before i posted this thread. But i didn't get much information from in it, that is why i posted this.
Also i searched in many docs other than Nexys too, but the result was same, not mentioned any file format or data format... :-( ....

Dunno. If all else fails you can just open the file in a hex editor and see what's in there. I would be surprised if it's much more than a file header + the raw data.
