Is it possible to connect 8051 to another 8051 and transfer data serially?

Hi, Is it possible to connect to one 8051 to another 8051 and transfer data serially.....

YEP...
You need common GND for both uCs, then connect
Tx (uC1) to Rx (uC2)
and
Rx (uC1) to Tx (uC2)
and off----you----go ..

[use the same speed and data format at both ends]
