Using temperature stickers to measure inductor case temperature.

Just use common sense. Thermochromic colours can be applied in many forms, e.g. as coloured pencils or stickers. There function doesn't depend on a specific form.
 
...now i am wondering if i can slit the 99degc section in half and use each half on different inductors?
