A reference design 4 an evaluation board of CC1010(RF tranceiver+mcu)
is given at
**broken link removed**
This contains schematic and layout files

different file extensions are: *.spl , *.pcb , *.cpa , *.scm , *.usr , *.rep

Now i have some questions regarding this:

1) which software can be used to open and/or modify these files?

2)is it possible to use Orcad for question 1

3)are these files r enough to send to a pcb manufaturer to get pcb
manufactured?

4)if answer to Queastion 3 is yes then which files to send to manufacturer
for pcb fabrication?

5)is there any file which could be given to assemler to get different components mounted on PCB?

6)can anybody tell me some PCB manufacturer in India,Pakistan or China to get this 4 layer PCB fabricated

7) if possible plz tell me rough estimate for cost

Plz use the above given link to have a look at the files

And PLZZZZZ give answers to as many questions as u can because this is my final year project and i have not much time

You not even bothered trying to open the files with a text editor...otherwise you would have found one of the first words is "CadStar" !!!

2)is it possible to use Orcad for question 1

No.

3)are these files r enough to send to a pcb manufaturer to get pcb

Again you didn't looked at the files and probably don't know how a gerber file looks like (o;

The .spl files are Gerber files and the ncdrill files are most likely for drilling? (o;

4)if answer to Queastion 3 is yes then which files to send to manufacturer
for pcb fabrication?

See above.

5)is there any file which could be given to assemler to get different components mounted on PCB?

Whatever you mean with that...file for automated placing of components?
Partslist?

6)can anybody tell me some PCB manufacturer in India,Pakistan or China to get this 4 layer PCB fabricated

Someone else has to answer this.

7) if possible plz tell me rough estimate for cost

As above.

Why I got the impression almost all students doing last year projects copying just stuff from web and ask others what to do with it? (o;

I would suggest asking your teacher where to produce prototype PCB's at the best price.

Go to Google and find NumberOne Systems (from UK).
They have evaluation software for PCB and Schematics.
Download is for free and it should be able to read most of PCB files... 8)

Yes DAVIRON
i meant the automated placing of components in Question 5

You may CADSTAR v5.0 or 6.0 open those file,see the web site of chipcon.

AutoVue SolidModel Pro from Simmetry Systems Inc. - Is the decision of your question

Kukaz

i had to use the same reference design. since i don't have cadstar i used the gerber file and had the best results with gerbtool.
