Hello,

If i use Altium at work to lay out PCB's, then can i simpy bring the compact disc home, put it in my laptop, and log in and use it at home?

...just that it would be handy for a few weeks now to work from home.

yes that should work. As long as only one person checkes out the license from Altium.

thanks, so the license is coming out over the internet?...all i have to do is log in?

IIRC, you don't have internet at home.

it depends on your license. do you have a standalone on-demand or server license?
i think you can only do it with the on-demand or stand alone license.
