Can this type of capacitor be used as bootstrapping capacitor?

For some reasons, multilayer ceramic chip capacitor can not be used in my application. I'm looking for capacitor (2.2uF or 4.7uF, and voltage rating at least 50V) with radial leads. Initially I thought film capacitor was cheaper but later I noted there are cheaper radial-lead multilayer ceramic capacitor than film capacitor at Mouser website. Thus, I will choose the radial-lead ceramic capacitor.

Thanks FvM and chuckey.

Serious inductance of the leaded capacitor will be the only posible critical point. According to datasheet, it's not much larger than for a MLCC chip due to the smal size.
