Hello! I want to create a large opening in the middle of my pcb,a shape like a swiss cross. How can I draw polygon holes in Allegro? Normally, when creating mechanical symbols I place a through hole pin with the dimensions I want for the particular hole, but I can only create rectangular or circle pins... What do I do for polugon-shape holes?
Thank you.

I don't use Allegro but would create such a shape with polygons on the milling or routing layer.

why cant you add a swiss cross with reqired dimennsoin in boardoutline layer and inform the fabricator to cut the area while routing.Example shown below

Unfortunately, there is no milling layer and on the routing layers i dont think i can draw holes..

Thank you NIKHILRAJ, perhaps I 'll do something like that.
But stil, there is no other way in allegro to create polygon holes?? It seems bizarre!

Yes, as Nikhilraj as stated, that is how it is done in all CAD systems, and is standard practice for showing non-round or slooted cut outs. It is not bizarre, look up how PCB's are made and how holes (usually above 3mm/5mm) are created. How many cross shaped drills are there? None so its all milled, including holes above a certain diameter.
