Hello,

I am trying to use Synopsys vcs to compile and simulate a simple vhdl design. vhdlan and vcs worked fine but I am now getting a "Segmentation fault" error message when I run %./simv to simulate my design

I noticed that the tool gives me the following warning at the beginning

Warning-[LNX_OS_VERUN] Unsupported Linux version
Linux version 'Scientific Linux release 6.2 (Carbon)' is not supported on
'x86_64' officially, assuming linux compatibility by default. Set
VCS_ARCH_OVERRIDE to linux or suse32 to override.
Please refer to release notes for information on supported platforms.

could this be the problem? I am just not sure because vhdlan and vcs worked fine.

Thanks,
Vonn
