Hello,

I want to design a circuit, which its output voltage is smaller than input voltage:

Uout = 0.6* Uin

With an amplifier (A>=1) I can have a biger output voltage, but in this situation in which field of analog circuit shuld I research and try it?

thanks and best regards

Sarah

You can use a simple resistor voltage divider.
If you need low output impedance, use an opamp based voltage follower (i.e. gain A = 1 amplifier) after the divider.
