optical transmitter

i am looking for point to point optical link b/w 2 microcontrollers.
the transfre speed can be as high as 1mbps.
the input signal can be ttl lave ot RS232 compatible.
dose some one know where can i fiend it?

Hi

Search Microchip site for IRDA chip as i remember thay have a chip who
accept serial comunication and convertit to IRDA(optical) and vice versa

use SPI type of communication for high speed
