Manipulating fixed output SMPS to variable output voltage

There is a 36V 5A SMPS which its PWM IC is TL494 and provides fixed 36V output voltage. is it possible to manipulate circuit in order to have variable 0 ~ 36V output voltage?

Surely not down to 0V, but some range around the original output voltage should be possible: perhaps 20 .. 40V.

    Thanks for your reply Erikl
Actually it's possible to vary output voltage through 25 ~ 36 Volts by changing original potentiometer. but what I mean is changing output voltage from 5V ~ 36V by applying some manipulations.
