Hi all,
I am planning to built a buck and buck boost converter, and I wonder if I can use only the high side of IR2110 for switching the mosfet (IRF540N) in the converter??? I know that it should be no problem to run a single low drive for IR2110, but based on what I have studied from the relevant threads, driving single high side (by ignoring the low side) seems like quite impossible as the circuit require at least a half bridge configuration for single high side drive. Am I correct??
Actually, I just want to confirm from you guys if my concept is correct, and whether it is possible to drive mosfet by using only single high side drive for IR2110?? I have tried to contruct a test circuit for a buck boost converter, but it is not working. Seriously, the info for this topic is quite limited , and I did really spent time to study and research about this. Maybe a few words of reply from you guys, my problem will be solved.
Please help. Thank you very much.
Best Regards
