i have to transmit a data using a zigbee module to another one at 1km apart..my question is how my reciever module can accept data from my transmitter only...there may be a chance of large number of zigbee transmitters in the same range..isn't it??? can anyone help me??

I am not sure about range (1 km). if the hardware has feature like hardware address filtering, then it is possible receive those datas. even some packets might if it's address is broadcast address.
