Hi everyone

I want to use HFSS to design dipole phased array antenna. is there anyway to use Tschebyscheff coefficients for amplitude?
in hfss----radiation----array design menu there is not any option to choose amplitude coefficient. would u please help me?

Hello Reza

You can change the magnitude and phase of your source in HFSS, Follow the steps

HFSS---Fields--Edit sources-- change the values accordingly

Hope you find it helpful

thank u dear elchiquito for ur answer. but my antenna has more than 50 arrays. should I enter all of its amplitudes by hand?

You Could write a script, but then that's a whole different world , unless u would want to try it out.

you are welcome, Hope you figure out things and reach your goal

Peace

tallface,
how does one find the active input impedance for each of the array elements in HFSS?

Thanks.
