what is the difference between canalyzer and vehiclespy tools

basically these two tools we use for automotive industry.

Vehicle spy is cheaper than can analyser. Both does the same thing. Can analyser you have to use their dedicated hardware which cost quite a bit. We have four PCMCIA cards from vector but that is obsolete as most PCs don't have PCMCIA slots now. That cost over a grand for each card.

Vehicle spy is cheaper than can analyzer. Both does the same thing and both are license based :). I agree with you , but for vehiclespy dedicated valueCAN device or neoVI FIRE, neoVI Blue, neoVI RED, neoVI PRO are required and for CANalyzer , CANCaseXL(which supports CANalyzer) is required .
