hi I have just started using cadence, can anyone guide me how to check whether a mixer is functioning properly, i.e. it is downconverting the frequency?
Thanks

The most important parameters of a mixer that need to be measured are:
-Conversion Gain or Loss
-Linearity (Input Intercept Point as IIP3)
-Spurious products
-Ports Isolation
-Noise Figure

thanks...but how should i know that the mixer is downconverting the frequency, because for any circuit NF and Conversion gain still exists even if doesnot function as a mixer ....
