Hi ,

I wanted to know how to convert a sensor resistance value to temperature. I'm using a KTY 81 sensor i have got some resistance values (eg 2380), help me how to convert.

The answer is in the very first search result of "kty81" from Google.

Thank you, but i wanted to know the calculations of the conversion from resistance to temperature values

Look at datasheet there is a table with temperature vs resistance values. Write down these values in MSexcel table and draw a XY chart.

Now you can approximate a formula according your data. Do following steps:
Go to Char Tools -->> Layout -->> Trendline select linear trendline.
New line will be drawn in your chart. kty81 is not linear, so you will see deviation from your real graph.
Click on that line Format Tredline and mark "Display Equation on char"
A linear equation will appear in your graph i.e. y=2x+3 (whehre x and y is resistance and temperature).
From this formula you can calculate any temperature value.
